Voluntourism
Voluntourism is a relatively new term that has been used since the 2004 tsunami which destroyed hundreds of thousands of livelihoods and triggered an unprecedented outpouring of compassion.
We feature tours from companies that have programs in place to help improve the lives of a local community over a period of time ranging from a couple days to months. Whatever time you can spare to help no matter how small will make a difference, both to you and the community.
