My name is David Crow and my wife is Noi. We have established a Guesthouse near Mukdahan. We are nestled in a "Phu Thai" home stay village.

It has always been our goal to assist in promoting our unique Culture and protecting our environment.

We also offer cooking demonstrations (Phu Thai) day tours of the villages and foraging trips, (very popular) "Darwin" our pet monkey hosts the foraging.
We have many happy visitors and a proud of our development.

Thai House Resort is located 60 klm from Mukdahan in North East Thailand (Isaan). The North East is screaming out to be visited, there is so much of "Unseen Thailand" here to see. We are also only 45 minutes from the new "Friendship Bridge" Bringing Lao so close and convenient.

"Thai House" is a home stay/guesthouse Hotel. The main home is styled after an original Galae Ban home (timber country palace).

We offer a unique holiday adventure. The Resort is nestled in a Phu Thai Village and the villagers just love visitors coming to there part of the world.

Although the house is very Thai the facilities are western. We offer bungalows with airconditioning, TV, DVD, bar fridge and western toilets. The gardens are just beautiful and the animals endless. Ducks, Peacocks, Pheasants, Burmese Chickens, our very own lazy St Bernard and of course our monkey, Darwin.

Environment Policy

Thai House Resort is trying hard to be environmentally friendly. We use only organically grown vegetables, herbs and rice. Most herbs are from our gardens here and create a wonderful landscape. Lemon grass, basil, chillies etc., look beautiful in the garden. Almost all produce is purchased from our village and we use village Aunties and Uncles to help us run the business and build our additions. This creates employment here. Water for the pool is run off from the roofs and then treated for purity. Drinking water is the same. We encourage the use of Bidets in the villas to limit the use of waste. We also recycle 100% of our waste. In fact, we have a local truck come to take away rubbish for recycling and they pay us for it. This money goes to our cleaners to encourage there participation. We are careful to not leave a negative footprint on village life, but encourage the continuation of our very special "Phu Thai" culture by exhibition dancing and selling locally made handicrafts.
